So I did it. In the end I changed pretty much everything about my plans which, even after refining them and doing lots of maths, turned out to be too adventurous. In the end I cycled (not enough busses to get off and 70 times) and stopped taking non-TTV photos of the surrounding area at City Road. The recording of ambient audio was immediately abandoned as being not that interesting actually.
Which left me with the TTV photos which are in this Flickr set and I’ve also turned them into a movie with soundtrack by Woodbine.
And that, normally, would be that but I’ve been a little unwell since completing the journey (I think I picked up a mild virus a few days back as I’ve been a irritatingly lethargic and headachey) so rather than do thinking word stuff I’ve been messing around with Blurb’s bookmaking software. There will be a book. Here’s the cover and back cover:

It’ll be 80 pages including an essay and will be on sale for around £15 as soon as I write the essay. Which I’ll do as soon as my head clears.

Good work,
Reminds me very much of typologies from the Becher school of photography, an almost forensic dissection of the subject matter.
There’s a wonderful textural quality to the pics which matches the grittiness of the 11 route very well.
(Could probably do with a better book cover though)
Sorry, that was a bit rude wasn’t it, what I meant was that a nice piece of work like this deserves a professional front cover
and I like the back cover very much
