No signal for Birmingham’s Digital District

[Update: While the mobile coverage here isn't perfect by any means I've come to think my experience is exacerbated by the position of our office in the middle of the Fazeley Studios building. So further research will be needed before one can conclude if this is an actual problem.]

You might remember me mentioning Birmingham City Council has decided to rebrand the area I work in as the new Digital District. Just now Nick and I were joking about how it’s hard to get a decent mobile phone signal here so I had a look on the trusty Offcom Cancer Danger Map to see what coverage we actually have.

The area inside the grey oval is roughly the Digital District. The green dot is Fazeley Studios, lauded for the novel business plan of gathering digital-type businesses in one place.
