Winamp dominated my desktop for years because of this but now Songbird comes along and kicks ass. It needs a hotkey for shuffling and song transitions are a bit slow, but other things like lyrics, news (pretty much what foxy tunes is) and minimzing to the tray make it a worthwhile install. How is it on playback, on some of the earlier build it would start to stutter if you were doing stuff in photoshop?
