Mini LED-Throwies to order – Yes, they're environmentally catastrophic but if you promise to be good and dispose of them properly after use I think you can get away with order enough supplies to make 80 of the things for 25 Euros from this German shop. If you're not sure what I'm talking about they have videos on the order page.

The only downside is I can't think of anywhere in Birmingham to throw them. It's all brick and concrete here. Ideas?

If you’re looking for metally-places, what about the lonely steel girders and scaffold poles of any of the now-abandoned construction sites in the city centre?
I need to figure out a way to make these stick to the underside of railway arches/covered canals. To get to where I live I have to walk past a very dark and dank canal tunnel, over which there is a short road, and the road is covered with a rail bridge. It’s pretty depressing and grim, if I could shoot some throwies onto the ceiling of the river tunnel it’d be very special…

What about Selfridges? I think those disk things are metal.

I could be wrong, but I don’t think the Bull and Selfridges have much iron content, which is kinda necessary for magnets.

Iron Man is a top idea though!

um, how about the ‘metal carpark’ (also known as the cage) near the Mailbox that Jon is obsessed with? Not sure what sort of metal it’s made of.
