The Enkoder Form – A handy little tool that turns an email address into a mass of incomprehensible javascript that hides it from spammer but still works when you click on it. (If you have javascript enabled of course).

About this site
In June 2000 I started blogging at peteashton.com and 10 years later in June 2010 I decided to stop. Blogging here, that is. I started a clean slate over on I Am Pete Ashton and maintain all manner of other web presences which are all listed here along with my contact details.
You probably came here via a Google search or from following a link on some old blog post somewhere. I hope what you find is useful in some way, though do check the publication date - it might be rather old now.
Thanks for your eyeballs.

Very nice solution, although as you’ve pointed out Pete, if you’re sans-Javascript you’re buggered, and if you care about the Disability Discrimination Act that’s not a viable option unless you can work in a version.
Thing is, if you’re pointing it to a webmail service like Google or Hotmail, their junk mail filters tend to be quite good – often as good as anything you’d pay for – so you would hope to filter out most of that anyway, whilst keeping your address public and not alienating those browsing without Javascript enabled.
