It’s like Karpov vs Kasparov only we’re not Russian and we’re playing backgammon. Sarah Allen and I have established the rules of our never ending battle of the who can move their counters across the spiky points the quickest. Here they are.
- Each set is a best of three games. Two consecutive wins takes the set.
- The winner of a match is the one who gets three sets ahead, for example 7:4 would win the match.
Games take place at hers or mine though we’re looking to infiltrate the Stiches and Hos knitting group at the Hare and Hounds.
Currently it’s Allen 4, Ashton 3. And I have to say she doesn’t win graciously.
