- Flip flops and Led Zep tour shirt for the office? – I'm really liking Richard McComb's columns in the Post.
- Councillor Mullaney suspended from office after losing appeal – Mixed feelings about this. Martin can be a pillock sometimes but he's the best councilor I've ever come across. That said, he probably screwed up here.
- Make the web work for your business at Creative Networks – Press release for the talk Stef and I are doing next Thursday
- Evernote – Oooh, this looks good. Skitch-style clipping of stuff but with added text recognition in images. Watch the movie.
- Teenager faces prosecution for calling Scientology 'cult' – "The City of London police came under fire two years ago when it emerged that more than 20 officers, ranging from constable to chief superintendent, had accepted gifts worth thousands of pounds from the Church of Scientology."

The CPS thrown this out, mercifully. There are some “interesting” links developing between the City of London police and the $cientologists. It’s of interest that the Met acted quite differently with the demonstration that they policed.
I has evetnotes invites if you want one, send me a mail and I’ll sort it out.
‘he probably screwed up here’ might be right in relation to running afoul of the Standards Board, but not in terms of trying to do something about that particular eyesore. If one can take the various reports as given, it seems that the council are guilty of inaction (no surprise there), which means abuses will happen until some sort of hue & cry is raised about it. Is the tram depot office important enough to make a fuss over? Only if people step forward and say it is…
