I think know what you mean, though.  I do feel it loses something if you follow the back-label instructions of half-filling a pint glass from your bottle and topping it up.

The idea of Newkie on tap is still a wonder to me, though.</description>

It&#039;s sort of strange. So much of the joy of Newky Brown comes from the bottle itself from, I think, the way the beer is bottle fermented (presumably) to the actual way of drinking. Drinking it from a pint glass makes it kinda ordinary. It&#039;s still lovely and that but I didn&#039;t feel like I was drinking anything special, compared, say, to drinking Guinness in Dublin. 

So: nice, but nothing really to report.</description>
