This is the personal blog and main internet hub-thing for Pete Ashton. What you'll find here is a seemingly random collection of stuff I want to talk about and share. If you want to know where I'm coming from you'd do worse that check the about page.

Some blogs I like

Sandy — your free personal email assistant. There’s not much particularly revolutionary about this, though I have to say I’ve never used a service of this kind before and I’m quite tempted by this one. Probably for the promise to stay in the background of what I already use, and the intriguing Twitter integration. via Ewan

“Not much particularly revolutionary” – how jaded are you? Simple email reminder services have been around since the dawn of internet time, sure, but as far as I know there’s nothing else quite like this. Look again at those examples.
I am quite jaded. ;)
Or rather I’m very aware that I can get sucked into the hype machine, especially when blogging about stuff I’ve not played with properly. Glad you think it worthy!
Gotta agree with Jez. Sandy via twitter via IM has finally brought me to integration.
I tell sandy. Sandy tells google calendar, then to scheduleworld, via funambol to my blackberry calendar, and our exchange server. So I can finally update my calendar from my mobile (sandy via twitter via IM), and have my partner be able to see it (google calendar) and my colleagues (google and outlook) and it’s all there on the bb.
I haven’t played with it yet, but there’s also the possibility of having Sandy remind others about stuff you’re doing together. That looks interesting.
All I need now is a life to organise. :->
