We were planning on having one of these anyway but being who we are and where we’d been it ended up being streamed live over the internet. Y’know, as you do. Here’s the video.
Apparently at least one person has found this useful, which is good enough for me.
And here’s the transcript from the chat room.

Just posted this comment on Stef’s blog and as it’s awaiting moderation (can I even link to an individual comment? spose it depends on the blog?) and still in my clipboard, here’s a copy:
“Hiya Stef,
Watched this live because as well as being interested in the content, I thought it would be a good introduction to Bambuser for me.
The discussion was really interesting but I found the online chat a bit distracting and it did deteriorate into school playground on several occasions. Been thinking about solutions to this. Perhaps if all of the live participants could see the online chat, people would keep their comments more focussed? I guess this would be too distracting for speakers as thought processes would be interrupted while reading comments? Not sure what the answer is really.
Another thing was that there is an audible alert on Bambuser when someone enters an online comment. Not sure if it’s poss to turn those off but still keep the presentation audio.
Oh yeah and I agree that it would have been nice to see all of the speakers.
Anyway, overall a positive experience :)”
