No More LOL is not, as I first suspected, a campaign against captions on cats and other things but a campaign against innacurate use of the phrase LOL by people who aren’t actually Laughing Out Loud. Instead they suggest LOI for Laughing On the Inside. Which is nice, but even better is the Reddit thread where folks take this as a cue to bitch about people who use LOL in real life, illumating for me how this stuff is permeating into culture, or some high-falutin shit like that. via russ.l.icio.us
