If proof were somehow needed that lolcat speak has pretty much infiltrated every aspect of modern society I offer you this. The editor of the reasonably well respected Birmingham Post newspaper, considered to be somewhat of the establishment, posted the following to his Twitter account yesterday:
Either it’s the dawn of a new age or it’s the end of civilisation as we know it. I’ll let you decide.

He has a twitter, the internet already owns him.
And I don’t know about you but I’m really quite impressed.
I can confirm that Marc Reeves has been caught IM’ing about beta sites at 1am in the morning.
He has embraced his inner geek. :)
Or possibly it was just a grammar lapse?

I actually found myself TALKING in lolcat the other week, announcing that “I *has* a Tumblr”. At least it was in the company of fellow bloggers.
I’ve been talking lol for months now. In fact I noticed my mum started while I was in New Zealand and she’d never seen a cat macro before. “I has” is probably the most common one along with “I can has?”
