Will Kane on comic artist Jim Steranko
Not being a silver-age Marvel fan I’ve never been a big follower of Steranko but have always had a respect for his art. To quote Will: “Steranko’s work exhibited a fluid kineticism; mixing Dali-like surrealism, op and pop art references with dynamic horizontal and vertical compositions.” Go check out the post for lots of examples. Thanks Pete – I’ve been trying to get a hold of Steranko’s Outland adaptation for years, now this links right through to some great scans… not the same but better than nowt ;)
