I ordered a t-shirt from ThinkGeek, as you do, and when it arrived it came with a 40 page catalog printed on thin glossy paper. What was weird was how much it reminded me of the old Innovations catalogs that used to live inside Sunday newspapers full of cool but ultimately useless stuff from some skewed future Earth. The ThinkGeek site doesn’t quite have this effect. Maybe that’s the nature of a catalog or maybe they’re just going for different markets. Whatever, a couple of things jumped out at me as worthy of teh bloggage.
That’s a Bluetooth Laser Virtual Keyboard. I’ve no idea exactly how it works (probably by… nope, no idea) but if this is the future of typing I’m interested!
Then there’s this coat:
Apparently it’s a Personal Area Network Microfleece Pullover and it has a revolutionary pocketing system. Betcha didn’t know pocketing systems could be revolutionary, eh?
The pullover has 5 pockets, including a specially designed chest pocket with a ZIP-PIP for sunglasses and “back-up,” patent-pending magnetic closures. The Weight Management System (WMS) for this pocket was an R & D coup…you can’t imagine how much testing went into this design. The pullover also features the patented Personal Area Network (PAN), a detachable key chain, an epaulet to attach devices, like walkie-talkies, ventilation eyelets and an adjustable waist cord.
Phew! I think I understood about half of that and it’s a jumper! But the best bit comes last. There I was mildly contemplating spending £30 on it when I noticed the final sentence.
Available in Black MicroFleece with a TWiT embroidered logo on the right chest.
Oops.

Actually, the “twit” embroidered detail kind of makes it for me. Also: answer to how the virtual keyboard works is “not very well” according to reports from friends.
I think it shall go very well with my new Outward Hound Day Hike Fanny Pack with 2 Water Bottles!

And there was me about to correct your typo. Fantastic!
