And so here I am in rainy old England (where BY FUCK it’s cold!) wide awake at some ungodly hour in the morning. Thankfully I have about 1500 unread items in my feed reader and a Created in Birmingham backlog the size of a fat person’s bottom, so there’s something to do in the wee hours. There’s also a few more NZ diary pieces to write before it all becomes a distant memory. Already it seems like a bit of a dream, though that might be the jetlag.
So yeah, I’m back in body if not quite in spirit. Give me a couple of days to get my head straight.
Welcome back! Sorry about the weather but at least it’s sunny this morning after what feels like a week of rain.
Yeah, I noticed that – guess I brought the sun with me!
Welcome back. Re-reading some of your pre-trip messages and your Christmas wish list, have you managed to organise your thoughts into how you see (or would like to see) the future of social networking sites?
No! Was too busy being in New Zealand!
That said, getting away from it all for a while does seem to have helped my brain. Some much more organised thoughts are starting to bubble up this last couple of days as the jetlag wears off.
Welcome back, Pete. The travelogue was fun, but business-as-usual is better!
