This is the personal blog and main internet hub-thing for Pete Ashton. What you'll find here is a seemingly random collection of stuff I want to talk about and share. If you want to know where I'm coming from you could do worse than check the about page.

Some blogs I like
November 1, 2007
Tumblr 3.0. Ooh, lots of lovely new features for Tumblr. I’m quite liking the look of these channels. But I haven’t played with anything yet and can’t see me finding time for a few days. Looking good though.
The API looks fairly powerfull. The groups thing something I’ve been wanting so much I started to try to make my own.
You just get the option of tumbling to your log or the group when you hit the bookmarklet. Plus you can have any number (it seems) of other posters. Sounds perfect almost for your flyer idea.
I’ve just created a Birmingham: It’s Not Shit tumblog, the idea perhaps being to get other people to pop links pictures and the like in there .
I have been unable to upload a trial image, whether as a file or a URL. Error every time. Then Tumblr is down for maintenance. A bit offputting for a new release.
But it is working again, well, sporadically, but enough to start Snaps and Crackles with Pops, a blog for the grandchildren.
