About this site
In June 2000 I started blogging at peteashton.com and 10 years later in June 2010 I decided to stop. Blogging here, that is. I started a clean slate over on I Am Pete Ashton and maintain all manner of other web presences which are all listed here along with my contact details.
You probably came here via a Google search or from following a link on some old blog post somewhere. I hope what you find is useful in some way, though do check the publication date - it might be rather old now.
Thanks for your eyeballs.

Damn… I’m supposed to be going to see Josh Ritter at the Glee Club tonight… does this mean that he won’t be playing? ;-)
The record shop I work in didn’t close but we did manage to play only spoken word records, poetry and radio plays. The Lone Ranger was the best bit of the day. We didn’t really have a reason but it made listening to music today all the more funner.
Was that the Lone Ranger audio book that Mark and Lard serialised on the Radio 1 show back in the 90s? They played 5 seconds a day for months – it was fantastic radio!
