Knowing that Matt would be photographing the event and, quite honestly, not fancying the competition I took my Through the Viewfinder contraption along to Project X Presents on Saturday night.
Working in a low-light environment where the colours are strange, it’s full of dry ice and everything’s moving, with a camera that only stops down to f3 and ISO 400, not to mention forcing what little light there is left to work its way through a couple of dusty pieces of glass and a mirror, well, I wasn’t too sure how well they’d come out. They’re certainly not accurate representations of the occasion but I guess that’s not a problem. That’s what I like about TTV – it’s a different way of seeing stuff, something that Project X was encouraging in its own way.
Here’s the full set and the recommended Slideshow. Hope you like.
