The 10 Most Terrifyingly Inspirational ’80s Songs. Not a bad list and complete with videos. I have a strange relationship with this stuff. On the one hand as a child of the 80s this was part of my osmosis (can you say “my osmosis?”) but on the other hand I’m not American and was never really into it. I do like a bit of Boston though. via Ben

About this site
In June 2000 I started blogging at peteashton.com and 10 years later in June 2010 I decided to stop. Blogging here, that is. I started a clean slate over on I Am Pete Ashton and maintain all manner of other web presences which are all listed here along with my contact details.
You probably came here via a Google search or from following a link on some old blog post somewhere. I hope what you find is useful in some way, though do check the publication date - it might be rather old now.
Thanks for your eyeballs.

It’s a terrible thing to hear More Than a Feeling come to a stuttering halt as your housemate’s boombox chews up your Boston tape. I was so incensed I stabbed it in the speaker with a breadknife. Who doesn’t love a bit of Boston?
Around the time this stuff came out, I was 10 and listening to Buddy Holly. Nuff said.
