Since the blog has been pretty quiet of late and since I’m procrastinating it seems as good a time as any to move over to WordPress. You’ll note, however, that I’m starting from scratch. Rather than try and build something new that can accomodate that nearly seven year legacy it seemed a little more realistic to get right back to basics and let things grow naturally.
I also suspect it’ll be quite liberating…
The old blog is still online here and all old permanlinks still work. RSS feeds should be redirecting. Let me know if they’re not.
Template will change once I find a nice Ajax-ey one that looks different to CiB.

I imagine you’ll get to the point of wanting to tinker wit the guts of it al at some point…
The old site was my own design, for sure, but it was all essentially ripped off from various people. If I do stick with this one it will be tweaked substantially but only really for the colours and such. I’m not messing with structural CSS ever again if I can help it. Life is too short…
If I could get away with it I’d just have plain text, but I can’t. S’gotta look “professional”.

Looking good! But I will have to change my bookmark which has /index.html or something which is no longer needed.
Hmm, how odd that Wordpress doesn’t automatically redirect that. Should work now.
