Wordie – “Like Flickr, but without the photos.” One of those websites that’s a really cool idea but doesn’t seem to have any practical use whatsoever, and yet I’ve got a niggling feeling it could be invaluable in some non-specific way. Whatever, I’m going to start adding words I like to it, if only so I can have them in one place, for whatever reason. (via)

About this site
In June 2000 I started blogging at peteashton.com and 10 years later in June 2010 I decided to stop. Blogging here, that is. I started a clean slate over on I Am Pete Ashton and maintain all manner of other web presences which are all listed here along with my contact details.
You probably came here via a Google search or from following a link on some old blog post somewhere. I hope what you find is useful in some way, though do check the publication date - it might be rather old now.
Thanks for your eyeballs.

Like you, I’m not sure why this is good, only that it is.
But it’s not “like Flickr” until there’s a friends list and I can see everyone else’s words together.
Yup, friending is the way forward. I assume it’s all in works. Beta is as beta does and all that.
Collaborative vocabulary has a nice ring to it…
Please, please, please stop using ‘friend’ as a verb, Pete.
I know you know better.
How about “chumming”. Would that be okay?
I’d say that’s a lot better.
