What’s new in Movable Type 3.3? It’s been long enough since I had my ass bitten off with the last MT upgrade that I’m not backing away from this in horror. Well, not too much. “Your plugins and templates won’t break when you upgrade.” Is that a promise?

About this site
In June 2000 I started blogging at peteashton.com and 10 years later in June 2010 I decided to stop. Blogging here, that is. I started a clean slate over on I Am Pete Ashton and maintain all manner of other web presences which are all listed here along with my contact details.
You probably came here via a Google search or from following a link on some old blog post somewhere. I hope what you find is useful in some way, though do check the publication date - it might be rather old now.
Thanks for your eyeballs.

Oy vey.
I just upgraded to 3.2 and I totally fucked it up. Actually it was all my mistake but one allways seems to make mistakes when upgrading these things. Took me bloody hours.
To be fair 3.2 was such a root-and-branch upgrade that it might as well have been a different application. This one should be just more icing on an established cake.
I’ll still be checking I really need to upgrade first and then putting a week aside for it though…
