This has been bugging me for a couple of days now so I have to share.
The following photo was taken by Pixeldiva in Manchester on November 21st. I was not in Manchester on that day. But my doppleganger was.
Hairline, stubbly beard, leather jacket, glasses, squinty grin while taking photo, posture. It’s all there.
Brrrr…

You’ve seen what the future will look like…
Manchester is full of such gentlemen. You can’t walk for more than five minutes without bumpung into one of them.
Yeah but you are good looking and skinny. ;)
10 years older, two or three stone heavier at least. The future indeed …
I must rush to this guys defence. A proper biker-style leather jacket like that is quite stiff and does ride up when you lift you arms, taking a loose fitting jumper with it. Also he’s got his chin pulled in to take the photo turning the neck into chub. If I were to re-enact that pose (which I may well do…) I’d look about the same, skinny git that I am.
PJ – I don’t doubt it. There are many of us around, especially in the world of comics for some reason (Dave Shelton and me have started a club with Chris Ware as president) but I’ve never seen one quite so uncanny.
It’s the bald with glasses thing, Pete. I have several dopplegangers myself including Eddie Hitler, Harry Hill and Howard from the Halifax adverts.
hmm i like your blog.. great job:D
thanks for the defence, pete … but yeh, even under that jacket i’m a chubby f*cker…
:)
ha ha. sorry i’m postiing this here but i just wanted to say thanks for the link to horsehater.
i slapped that horsehater blog together in about an hour in response to a post my buddy alex blagg made on his blog about getting thrown in a new orleans slammer for alledgedly punching a horse (he didn’t). he and i kept making posts to amuse ourselves.
you wouldn’t believe how many people think it’s serious.
thanks for the link.
merkley??? aka Glue Factory Bob aka Rachelle
Heheh, scary stuff!
The shape of the upper part of the skull is all wrong; his finger bones are shorter and the joints more pronounced. But the way he’s dipping his head does bring out the resemblance …
