Fwiw, the election has been exhausted pretty much, unless there's something uniquely compelling going on in Kingstanding. Like it's the Crime Minister's concubine's constituency, or something. Ideas? I liked the shopping expose you started with the shoes. A really good round up of swop suggestions or other ways of blagging things so one doesn't have to go and do the dreaded shopping would be interesting. Birmingham is so full of horrible samey shopping places, it'd be good to know how one goes about avoiding them.
