Virgin Radio do Podcasting Not that I’d want to listen to it or anything, but it’s something of a development, like when newspapers got weblogs.

About this site
In June 2000 I started blogging at peteashton.com and 10 years later in June 2010 I decided to stop. Blogging here, that is. I started a clean slate over on I Am Pete Ashton and maintain all manner of other web presences which are all listed here along with my contact details.
You probably came here via a Google search or from following a link on some old blog post somewhere. I hope what you find is useful in some way, though do check the publication date - it might be rather old now.
Thanks for your eyeballs.
Pete Ashton
Except that, according to the BBC, the podcasts are:
a half-hour edit of its four-hour breakfast show with all the music, news, weather, traffic and travel cut out.
So, just the inane DJ blather and the adverts, then? Whoo-hoo.
Well, I was warned by James. It’s crap with ads. A Public Broadcasting Radio membership pledge drive is more entertaining.
I should have been clearer. I’m in no way suggesting anyone actually listen to this shit. It’s just of note that they’re doing one and calling it a Podcast.
No, I understood you but after downloading quite a few US podcasts I had to try out the UK’s first radio station attempt.
