My good friend Dave Early recently decided that after working in the film industry for many years it was about time he knuckled down and made his own movie. Filming has started and it all seems to be going frighteningly well.
My very small part in all this is managing the web presence, and the holding page went up today.
The fact that it’s called The Street Cleaner and that I’m currently a street cleaner only occurred as I was ftping it up…
[Update: Dave on IMDb]

Instead of this article, your RSS feed put up the ‘Welcome, Guardian Readers’ article again – unless of course it’s a problem with my reader (I’m using rawdog now instead of lj’s friends page).
I like the name of the film, however, it does sound like an episode of the Sweeney, guv. :)
That’ll be because I changed the URL in the Welcome Guardian Readers post (I found an archive page with my blog on it). An RSS reader compares the most recently grabbed feed with the previously grabbed one and compares them for differences, no matter how slight, hence the Guardian post being displayed as new. Since RSS readers check feed at most every hour there’s a delay between something appearing here and appearing in your reader. This post should be appearing in your reader any minute now…
You were not wrong :)
First thing that struck me on seeing the picture – “Oh, Miller’s releasing a new Sin City…about… hang on!” :)
