Just to keep those of you interested informed, I’m going to be a chambermaid tomorrow (Sat) morning for a few hours and then next week I’m a cable puller. I’ll leave you wondering about what a cable puller is until Monday. Any guesses in the comments (although hardly anyone’s leaving any bloody comments here at the moment. Highest stats ever and barely a squeek. What can you do?)

About this site
In June 2000 I started blogging at peteashton.com and 10 years later in June 2010 I decided to stop. Blogging here, that is. I started a clean slate over on I Am Pete Ashton and maintain all manner of other web presences which are all listed here along with my contact details.
You probably came here via a Google search or from following a link on some old blog post somewhere. I hope what you find is useful in some way, though do check the publication date - it might be rather old now.
Thanks for your eyeballs.

Well, over here where walls are hollow and ceilings are suspended, cable pulling means wiring an office for a network. And much of the cable pulling I’ve seen is kinda Heath Robinson in appearance so I hope somebody put labels on the ends of all those wires!
I think you might be tediously right, though I won’t know for certain till Monday.
Cable pulling is pulling cables – possibly through suspended ceilings, possibly under the pavement, possibly something else. It’ll involve cables and pulling for definite though :)
