Tomorrow I’ll be working the bins in Bicester (prn. ‘Bista’). I haven’t been a bin man for, ooh, 12 years, so it should be interesting. I suspect hanging off the back of the truck won’t be allowed in these Health and Safety conscious days. Anyway, 6.00am start and, I’ve been warned, non-stop heavy lifting. So I’ll be knackered then.

About this site
In June 2000 I started blogging at peteashton.com and 10 years later in June 2010 I decided to stop. Blogging here, that is. I started a clean slate over on I Am Pete Ashton and maintain all manner of other web presences which are all listed here along with my contact details.
You probably came here via a Google search or from following a link on some old blog post somewhere. I hope what you find is useful in some way, though do check the publication date - it might be rather old now.
Thanks for your eyeballs.
Pete Ashton
ehh … does that mean you’re in our neck of the woods? You should drop by sometime.

Ah, Banbury, that’s a bit way up in North Oxfordshire I suppose, but hmm …
In theory, yes, in practice I’m busy this weekend then back to Winch on the 9th. Also, until I’m settled in a new job in Brum, I’m still on something of a budget. The thought did definitely occue though… ;)
Hm, I’m off to Ladyfest (Manchester) this weekend, anyway — train’s cheap Oxford to Bicester, but I think it ramps up a bit for Banbury — and evening trains probably don’t exist …
These Ladyfest things are seriously intriguing me. I intend to try and make it to some once things settle down (or rather, once I settle down…).
