Spent most of today fixing, adding bits to and generally tidying up this site. I was going to re-do the whole thing but the last time I did that I never quite got it polished, so I figured polishing would be more rewarding this time.
A major addition is the Organic Link Farm which also runs on the sidebar of the main page. This is for blogging sites of interest but not worthy of a full blown post.
The text is generally a bit smaller over the whole site. I got the feeling mine was larger than everyone elses but if you find it too small it can be enlarged using your browser.
There’s a pretty much full complement of XML goodies on the sidebar and I’ve added little question mark links to hopefully explanatory pages. If you don’t find these useful, or know a better page, please let me know. Also, if there’s something else on the site that you haven’t got a clue about, let me know and I’ll try and make it clearer.
TrackBack pings sent to this site are now listed on the main page user the New Comments listing. This is something I’m not happy with. I wanted to list the posts that have been pinged as with the comments but MT doesn’t seem to have tags to do that. Any suggestions?
My recent posts to BugPowder and TRS2 are now listed on this site. I did this by making my own RSS file in the BugPowder blog. I guess if other BugPowder contributors want their own RSS feed it can be arranged!
Things still to do
Polish the Comments and TrackBack popup templates.
Fix it so text can be selected. This is something that’s been embarasing me for quite a while. Now I’ev got everything else looking right it won’t take long to do.
Get blogging!
