Thank you Raed

As the news tries to convey what’s actually going on in Baghdad at this moment, I find myself wanting to read the Where is Raed? blog more and more. These things quickly get depersonalised so thank you Salam.

The worst is seeing and feeling the city come to a halt. Nothing. No buying, no selling, no people running after buses. We drove home quickly. At least inside it did not feel so sad.

As for me, I’m well aware I’ve never actually articulated my position on all this and I intend to rectify this soon. S’about time, I know.
