Saturday morning (ish), no real plans, a gaping maw of a week threatening me with the potential of wasting it… Best do something fluffy to get me going so I’ve set up my Flickr account. It’s actually neater than I thought. All the usual cool sorting stuff plus easy posting to the blog, but the whole user experience is the major shock in that it’s all pretty seemless. If you want to host your photos somewhere and use them elsewhere, I’d got for this service.
So here’s a photo - Sam’s cleaning the windows (that’s her way of avoiding the gaping maw of the weekend) and saw this bundle sleeping by the front door. Eventually it woke up and strutted off to the undergrowth. Keen!

This is the personal blog and main internet hub-thing for Pete Ashton. What you'll find here is a seemingly random collection of stuff I want to talk about and share.

I’m already embarassingly fond of flickr and pushing it to all my friends — have you tried out the tag slideshow function yet? I recommend “octopus” and “yellow”. Dreamy (even if the latter has a big chunk of people in yellow t-shirts for some reason).
Charlie the collie I call the hedgedog, as when we’re out walking, he likes to burrow into the hedges and point out his marvellous see-through tunnel creation, which I remind him, he did not in fact, create. Walking around in August we came accross a hedgehog (rarer in NI than England). More fun little spikemuffins in light.
